COAL RIVER LODGE & RV
Information

The lodge was purchased in 1999 with the idea of preserving one of the few remaining sites along The Alaska Highway. Over the years, regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades have been made to the following areas:

• On demand hot water, new propane furnace in Motel
• New metal roofs have been replaced on all buildings
• A new laundry room was constructed and affixed with stainless steel plumbing.
• All water wells underwent general maintenance. A second well was drilled in 2002. Both wells have excellent water and good flow.
• A water building was constructed around the perimeter of well #2 with a water softening unit and a sand filter.
• A 5 person staff trailer with washroom facilities has been erected onto the property.
• New flooring throughout Motel

The RV Park on the property is equipped with 12 full service sites and more space available for non service sites. There are 2 sets of washrooms, sinks, and private showers in each of the washroom facilities on premises of the RV Park. A Laundromat service is available with 2 coin washers, and 3 dryers with a large sitting and folding area.

The Motel is complete with 6 rooms, each with their own private washroom and shower. The bathrooms have been recently renovated.

The licensed restaurant seats 24 people comfortably, has liquor license, and is definitely a cozy spot to enjoy a nice meal or a great beverage.

A quaint gift shop is also located within the lodge premises and houses delectable handmade jams, jellies, and Wildberry Chocolates!!! T-shirts and souvenirs are also available.

A gas station is on premise where you can fill up with a choice of Premium gasoline, Unleaded, Diesel fuel, and premium boat gas.
